Obituary of Magaline Thompson

Magaline (Madelyn) Thompson departed this life on Sunday, July 5, 2020. As a result, our hearts are a little less bright, but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love and laughter. Magaline was born April 5, 1953 in Loris, SC to Betty and Willie Thompson Jr. She later relocated to Trenton, NJ. Magaline was employed at Trenton Board of Education for 33 years until she retired in January 2019. She wasaffectionally known as Mag to her close friends and family. She enjoyed teaching and taking trips with her family and friends to Atlantic City, NJ. She was loved by her students, parents and former co-workers. Magaline was preceded in death by her parents Betty and Willie Thompson Jr., brother Harold Thompson, sister LaSandra Thompson-Knight and grandmother Lossie Powell-Soles. Magaline’s memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her children: Torri Thompson of Trenton, NJ; Nicole Thompson of Morrisville, PA; Stacie Thompson (husband, Davvonne) of Trenton, NJ; sister Marilyn Preston (husband, Eric) of Ewing, NJ; brother Bobby Thompson (wife, Helen)in the Philippines; granddaughters, Shaniece Thompson, Kieera Zayas, Shayla Keese, and Kaya Keese; grandsons, Nelson Zayas, Daniel Allen, Davvonne Wells and Terrence Keese; eleven great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special friend.
