Obituary of Howard W Ways, Jr.

On July 10, 2020, our beloved father, brother, husband, passed away peacefully at the age of 80. The Camden, NJ native was an educator who retired from a distinguished career with the State of New Jersey. He was known for his sense of humor, his artistic talent, his dedication to Alpha Phi Alpha and his love of God. Howard graduated from Johnson C. Smith University and Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Moorestown. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lizzie M. Ways. He is survived by his wife Joyce Freeman Ways, his sons Howard Ways III and Kirt Ways, his brother John Ways, his sister Laverne Ways and his extended children David Freeman, Dianna Freeman and Deneen Freeman. He was blessed with numerous grand-children,  extended grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and family members.
