Upon completion of high school, Doris attended the Philadelphia School of Business and worked various positions until she began working at Chef Solutions in Thorofare, NJ. She lovingly provided care for both parents and other family members when their health began to fail. She adored her family and traveled near and far to support them in all of their endeavors. She would mail a card of encouragement for the smallest achievement and loved to give monetary incentives to her grandchildren after reviewing their report cards each marking period. Spending time with family and friends was important to her. She always looked forward to lunch dates with her lifelong friend, Arleen Maiden and cousin, Daisy Moore. Doris also found pleasure in “Retail Therapy”. She would not miss an opportunity to shop whether it was local or out of town. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes.
