George!!! Oh how we miss you. The huge hugs every weekend we came over. The happiness to see us and that smile of yours. What a smile. Your stories, I miss them. Your love for Nilsa, & you’re joy that she had a true friend finally (I was lucky to have her, my ‘sis’). So much emotion in you, under that tough exterior. You were adamant about how important it was to speak on the phone instead of text, & you somehow had my husband calling you (Vinnie never ever called before that; hated calls, only texted; you changed that!). You were a force for good, for person to person interaction, for spreading the truth of Christ unashamedly. I just miss you. I can hear you greeting us now. “Heyhayyyyy!! Come on come in!!!” You had a way of making us feel like family from day one. Wish we had more time together. I Cherish what we had. Don’t know how to stop the random tears that still come, you were more than just family to me and to Vinnie. We may not be blood, but we loved you with all our hearts, & u were family to us. Always will be. No words describe the loss or the love, but we will see u in Heaven when our time comes.
