Madeline White Stevenson departed this life on Friday, October 2, 2020, at home. Born March 13, 1939 to George White and Gladys L. Stephens, in New York City, NY, Madeline leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband, George H. Stevenson, three children: Denise M. Mundy, George H. Stevenson, Jr. (Eyonna), and Constance Cotton (Stacey), seven grandchildren: Kerrie Porter (Claude), Brenton Mundy, Janena Mundy, Asia Stevenson, Asante Stevenson, Markus Stevenson and Matthue Cotton. three great-grandchildren: William Mundy, Jada Mundy and Max Porter; four sisters: Delores S. Norris (Rasool Satchmei), Salome B. Stephens, Mary Katherine Farrow, and Barbara P. Coleman (Larry); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Preceding Madeline in death are her parents, son-in-law Derrick Mundy, sisters Luvenia Cream (Thomas) and Jacqueline Tucker, and niece Allison Cream. Private graveside services will be held at BG William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231, in Madeline’s memory.
