Obituary of Richard Anthony Vega

Richard Anthony Vega, age 54, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2020, along side his mother Elsa and sister Vanessa. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at May's Funeral Homes in Camden, New Jersey. Viewing will be public from 6:00pm til 9:00pm. Internment will be private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by May's Funeral Homes. Richard was born in Morrisania Hospital in the Bronx, New York on November 22, 1965. He lived by his mother, Elsa Rosario, father, Juan Vega Sr., his brothers; Juan Vega Jr., Ronald Vega, and Emmanuel Vega, his sisters; Jenny Vega, Vanessa Vega, and Elsa Román and by all his loving nieces and nephews. Richie had a passion for DC Comics and Marvel Comics. He loved them all, from the good guys to the bad ones. From Superman to Batman, from Ironman to Aquaman. Can't forget how much Spiderman and The Incredible Hulk brought him a smile. As a kid he really enjoyed wrestling with his younger brothers. He was always the rough and the toughest one. The protector. He was a happy and loving kid, who loved his siblings and family dearly. Richie enjoyed arts and crafts, crosswords books, and especially listening to spanish classical music. His favorites; Jose Luis Rodriguez "El Puma", Jose Jose, Julio Iglesias, and so many others like Wilkins. Richie will be so missed for all the smiles and joy he brought us. For his pure innocence.
