Obituary of Gary Pressley

The memory of a good person is a blessing. Proverbs 10:7 Gary K Pressley, the loving son of Shirley Pressley and the late James Pressley, was born on July 30th, 1965 in Elmer, New Jersey. Our Heavenly Father closed the eyes of our loved one on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 at Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Gary, was educated in the Deptford Twp. Public School System and obtained his high school diploma from Deptford High School in Deptford Twp NJ. While attending high school, Gary obtained a certification in Welding. Gary, then became a loyal employee of Ancora Psychiatric Hospital as a Human Service Technician for over 32 years. There, is where he formed many friendships. Gary then met and married Judith, and to this union two loving children were born: Gary Jr. and Brittani. Years later, Gary was blessed to with a third child, Gabrielle. Later in life, he met Shelley, to whom he later married, and to this union, he was honored to have two step children; Blake, Tia. Gary has always been a child of Christ. In 2017 Gary rededicated his life to Christ, to where he confessed his faith in Christ. Gary joined Christlike Ministries, under the leadership of Dr. Apostle Darlene Bryant, where he remained a member until his passing. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 When Gary entered the room, his presence exuded happiness. He was a kind and patient man. Gary was very comical and enjoyed joking around. He was honest and refreshing. Gary was a spontaneous and adventurous person. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and four wheelers. Whenever he was amongst family and friends, he was ready to play a good game of Spades or compete in a Chess game. He enjoyed summer barbecues while having a “Cold One” with his crabs. To know Gary, is to know a good man. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shelley Pressley; three daughters; Brittani, Gabrielle and Tia; two sons, Gary Jr. and Blake; his mother, Shirley Pressley; Father in-law, Mr. Benjamin Anderson Sr; two brothers, Glenn (Gina) and Greg; two sisters, Sherri (Lawrence), and Sharon; five sister-in-laws, Gina, Carolyn, Yvonne (Oscar), Trina and Keisha; four brother-in-laws, Lawrence, Benjamin Jr, C.W and Oscar; six grandchildren; one best friend, (Oscar) and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
