Jessica Marie Bell was born on July 13,1987 to William and Pearlena Bell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 11, 2020. Jessica was educated in the Philadelphia Public Schools. She received her high school diploma from Philadelphia Regional High School on June 15, 2005. After graduation, Jessica attended Lincoln Technical Institute to become a Medical Assistant. Jessica always wanted to be a mommy. She gave birth to two sons, Jaysen and Jayden. They stole her heart. She referred to them as “my boys”. She loved spending time with her boys, reading bedtime stories, birthday parties and vacations. It was Jessica’s desire to take her boys to Universal Studios when they were old enough to remember. October 2020, she fulfilled that dream. Jessica was a loving and devoted mother. Jessica was a big sister and best friend to Jasmine. Jessica and Jasmine were inseparable. When it was time to leave the nest they moved out together and shared a home. They raised their children together, Jessica and her two boys and Jasmine and her daughter Zoe. Jessica’s nickname for Zoe was “niecey-poo”. Jessica loved and adored her big brother, William and his son Maurice. Jessica nicknamed Maurice “pooh bear”. Jessica, Jasmine and Pearl were a trio. Pearl’s nickname for Jessica was “Turkey” and Jasmine is “Turk.” They had a bond like no other. They were the three musketeers. Jessica worked in the hotel industry for over 15 years. Jessica then moved to the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 where she was currently employed. Jessica joined Sharon Baptist Church, Philadelphia, under the leadership of Bishop Keith Reed, in 2010. There she committed her life to Christ and was baptized. Jessica loved the Lord with all her heart. She knew the importance of maintaining a relationship with Christ. Jessica participated in the Women’s Ministry at Sharon and she was adopted sister of W.O.W., Women of Wellness where she served as a panelist for WOW Cancer Survivors event in October 2020. Jessica loved to dance. Her dancing was the highlight of many family functions. Her favorite dance partner was her cousin, Elijah, who she was always willing to babysit. Her smile lit up the room and she greeted everyone with “hey, you guys”. Jessica leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Jason and Jaydon, her father, William Bell and her mother, Pearlena Bell. 1 sister, Jasmine Morrison (Johnny), 1 brother, William Nelson, Grandmother, Ethel Kimble (Thomas, deceased), 1 niece, Zoe Morrison, 1 nephew, Maurice Nelson. Leontine Kimble (Godmother), Reginald (Skipp) Goldston, (who Jessica considered her step-father), her best friend of 20 years Carmella Cowen, Goddaughter Sakeenah and Godson Ameen.
