Obituary of Clarissa Y Simmons

Clarissa Yvette Simmons Was born to Geraldine Tillman and Clarence Burks on March 29th 1967 at Bellevue Hospital in Trenton New Jersey.She was 53 years old when she departed peacefully in her home on December 5th 2020. In Fayetteville, North Carolina. Clarissa graduated fromWicomicoHigh School in Salisbury Maryland, in 1985.Although being born in Trenton, Clarissa spent most of her life in Newark NJ, Maryland and Delaware. Clarissa a.k.a “Butter” was a wonderful person with a beautiful, courageous soul. She had a great passionfor elephants and spending time with family. Clarissa is survived by her seven children. ( Malcolm, Alice, Clarissa, Shaquannah, Jamar, Ronald, Keon). Eleven grandchildren (Zy’Oni Zakir, Za’Riyah, Za’Kyii, Jovan, Traysir, Trayon, Taemonni, Amon, Emya, Natalie). Her parents, Geraldine Tillman, Clarence Burks and a host of sisters, brothers and other relatives.
