Obituary of Sammie L Wilson

Sammie Leroy Wilson “Fred” was born December 22, 1966 in Brooklyn New York to the late Minnie Sigler and Sammie Lee Wilson. He received his education in the Public Schools of Brooklyn NY. He lived in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, making New Jersey his home and never far from his brothers. Family meant everything to Fred. He loved his family and kept in touch with his family faithfully. He always had wise words to tell the younger generation and took pride in watching and helping children grow into upstanding citizens. He was the life of the party and loved by everyone. He held a special place in a lot of people’s hearts. He could turn your frown upside down, he had a good sense of humor, a big heart and a wonderful smile. Without trying Fred always found a way to leave his mark on his friends and family. Left to cherish his memories are: his son Joseph Washington, daughter Samaryia Jessica Harris-Wilson. His only sister Darleen Stukes, three younger brothers: Jerome (Hanky) Wilson, Dwayne (Pop) Wilson, Morton (Marty) Wilson-Sigler and sister in law Pamela Wilson-Sigler, Five neices Lamicka Stukes, Lacreshia Stukes, Nakia Wilson, Shalayah Jean, Maraizyah Wilson-Sigler, Eight nephews: Jerome Wilson Jr, Dwayne Wilson Jr, Jaden Wilson, Altauron Jean, Javantae Jean, Morton Wilson-Sigler III, Izise Wilson Sigler and Montre Wilson-Sigler, a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We are all going to miss you Fred!!
