Obituary of Lillamae Williams

LillaMae “Big Lill” Williams was born February 28, 1965 to James and the late Elizabeth Fentress. She was called home for her eternal reward on Sunday, January 3, 2021 after her long courageous battle with Pancreatic Biliary Cancer. At the age of 16 she began working her career with Moses E Gordon landscaping. Over the decades she mastered the art of landscaping to build her own empire. She was compassionate about her family, work, friends, cars and lottery. Lilly was the second eldest of four siblings, Mary, Frank and Jessica Fentress. At the age of 18, She eloped and married her longtime friend and love, Eric Williams, May 17, 1982. Their union created a family of 4 beautiful daughters. She was a loving and devoted mother to Korissa, Deanna, Arminta and Lillian Williams. Not only was she a mother of 4, but Lilly was also a mother to others. Lilly had a “ Heart of Gold ” and was a selfless person with many friends. She was very well known and respected in her community. She impacted the lives of so many by always being there and giving even when she didn’t have anything to give but she always figured out how to make it work. To know Her, was to love Her! When Lilly entered a room, her “Smile” commanded your attention. Lilly had many things that she enjoyed, Going to the beach, Crabbing, Dancing, Singing and always the Life of the party. One of her passions was to make others “Happy”. She was considered an extension of her Mother, who would give and care for anyone! Lilly was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Fentress and 2 sisters Mary and Jessica Fentress. She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories, her children, Korissa Williams, Deanna Williams, Arminta Williams and Lillian Williams, Sibling Frank Fentress, Michele Ricard (adopted), 8 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
