Harold Theodore Dixon was born on December 7, 1954 in Philadelphia PA to Harold Jerome Dixon and Lessie L. Jordan Dixon. He attended and graduated from John Bartram High School. On July 29, 1977 Harold joined the united State Navy where he served as an Electrical/Mechanical Equipment Repairer until. Harold was honorably discharged after serving 6 years on July 28, 1983. Harold traveled to many places and held a few jobs before joining Screw Products Company INC as a forklift driver in September of 1983 were he became a valued member of an eighteen man team and trusted employee remaining dedicated to his employer for over 37 years. Also in 1983 he met and began to court a young woman named Deborah Gooch. Sadly, they soon separated and lost contact with each other. Harold would go on to meet and eventually marry his first wife Gilberta Dixon who tragically passed away in April of 1997 leaving Harold a widower. In the end Harold and Deborah would meet again and rekindle that loving spark they had until the day she preceded him in death in October of 2019. Harold leaves to cherish his memory his Aunt Mary L. Maske, Adopted Brother Cleo Kornegay, Step-daughter Anita Gooch, Step-son Martin Gooch, two Grandsons Kyreem Butler and Martin Gooch Jr., three Granddaughters Nyrae Butler, Sienna Gooch and Siyann Gooch and a host of friends coworkers and family in Christ. We will always and forever love you!
