Obituary of Nathaniel Wilson

Please share a memory of Nathaniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nathaniel Wilson was born on August 7, 1961 to the late Sadie M. Wilson-Taylor and the late Paul Lawson. He departed this life on January 16, 2021. His dear brother Larry D. Wilson and cherished Aunt Marva Wilson and Uncle Ronald Williams all preceded him in death. Nathaniel was raised in Camden, NJ and educated by the city school system. He was committed to being loyal, loving and caring to his family and friends, which was why he strived to keep both close to his heart. Nathaniel is affectionately called “ICE” and could be counted on to keep things straightforward. Growing up, ICE helped to organize Brothers from Pollock Town (BFPT) social group with his close friends. He also served as their President. BFPT was known for organizing gatherings for friends in the Whitman Park area of Camden. Until his death, he continued to be close with childhood friends and BFPT members L. Guest and J. Moore. Nathaniel held a variety of employment positions over the years showing his versatility. Whether it was his time as a Forklift operator at The Philadelphia Port Authority and Food Galore or his Maintenance work, for both Missa Bay in Swedesboro, NJ and Service Master in Camden, NJ; he liked being able to provide for his family and friends through his work. His interest in owning his own company and pursuing his entrepreneurial skills helped him see a dream realized as he establish “Ice Entertainment”, Inc. The company allowed him to enjoy his music as he worked as a DJ. He also used it to organize social gatherings and cabarets that have given many priceless memories. Family and Friends can truly say that ICE enjoyed a good life and wanted others to enjoy a good life too. Holidays were big for him, as he loved the chance to celebrate with them and share his love of cooking as everyone gathered. All will say that, he was known for being well coordinated from head to toe “Dressed to Impress” no matter where he was headed. There is no denying that ICE enjoyed great music and dancing. He also had a love for travel and sharing his adventures with some hearty laughs. He will be cherished and missed by his children, son William Muse (Victoria), daughter April Wilson, grandchildren Kah'Liya Harvey and Namir Simmons. His brothers Paul Wilson and Robert Lewis . His cherished love, Penny Davis. ICE will forever be remembered by Aunts Myra Wilson & Sauda Zahra (Renee); Uncles Charles Wilson, Richard Wilson (Otella) and David Wilson, Nephews Kahron Wilson and Larry Wilson Jr., niece Nadirah Wilson and a host of cousins and close friends. There is no doubt that Nathaniel “ICE” Wilson’s love of life has touched others and he will forever live on in the hearts and memories of all those who shared in his steadfast love and friendship!
