Obituary of Angelene Clements

Please share a memory of Angelene to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Angelene Clements, affectionately known as “Ann” or “Lenie,” was born July 13, 1958 in Millville, NJ to the late Walter Holloway and Mary Janette Bowser. She gained her wings on January 29, 2021. Angelene grew up in Whitesboro, NJ with her father Walter until his passing when she was eleven years old. At that time, she moved in with her paternal grandmother Mary, sister Mary (known as Diane), and cousins Frank and Harry Anderson. Walter nicknamed her “Angel” at a young age and spoiled her. However, her friends called her “Baker,” because Angelene was known for making mudpies. After leaving Whitesboro, Angelene lived in Ocean City, Pleasantville, and Mays Landing, NJ, where she resided until her passing. Angelene maintained different jobs throughout her lifetime, including babysitting, various casinos, and home health aide. As a young adult during the summer, she would help her grandmother work at the Castaway motel in Wildwood, NJ. During her last employment, Angelene went back to her first love of babysitting. Angelene’s pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. Her greatest love was shopping. She often spoke about wanting to be a professional shopper for people.
