Janet Richardson, known as “Cookie” 48 of Blackwood NJ peacefully went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2021. at her home. She was born in Camden NJ on September 3, 1972, daughter of the late Theodore & Emma Richardson. She is survived by her spouse Javier Lorenzo. Her 3 lovely, adorable children whom she loved unconditionally Janell Richardson (David Sr.), Janean Richardson, her only son Dyshon Andino. Her 4 loving grandchildren Jaquan, DJ (David Jr), Jayla and Jaya. Her Amazing Godson Jamir. Her siblings Theodore Jr, Samelijah (Cheryl), Judy (Steven), JD (Tracy), Lisa (Tasha), Joyce (James), Sandy, Stony (Latoya)Anthony & Margaret. Mother-in-law Maria, 1 sister in-law Stephanie (Jamar) & 1 brother-in-law Miguel, numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Also, her special best friend Chuck (her daughters’ father), whom she had a close relationship with. Janet grew up with both parents and her siblings, she attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Church and later became a member of Scott Methodist Church where she joined the youth choir. Janet love singing for the Jesus Christ and was always happy to be in the house of the Lord, dancing and praising. Janet graduated from Camden County Vocational School. After High school she attended Gordon Phillips Cosmetology School where she graduated and received her license. Janet continued with her career in Cosmetology. Janet also received her license for certified home health aide/Certified nursing assistant, this was her passion, she cared for everyone. Janet would always want to assure everyone she came in touch with that they were cared for. The heart she had was amazing, she was extremely sweet, kind caring with a soft speaking voice. She assured great hospitality rather it was at her own home or her workplace, she made sure everyone was comfortable and she was always teaching and speaking about the Lord. Years later Janet had 3 beautiful children. Janet raised her children up in the church and taught them how to love, honor, respect and have dignity. She made sure her children was in church every Sunday morning and had a relationship with God. Once she started having grandchildren, she made sure they were in the church as well. Janet loved the Lord. Those who know Janet, knows she was an organize, sophisticated classy lady who love to dress and loved her heels, she had over 150 pairs of shoes. She would even put on her heels just to go grocery shopping. Later, Janet became a dedicated and devoted member of Holy Bethel Pentecostal Temple in Camden NJ where she spent plenty of time serving the Lord. She made sure her children, godson and grandchildren were sitting in church with her. Janet grandchildren were the most important part of her life. She lived for those grandchildren. She made sure they did not want for anything. Janet always kept a smile on her face even when she does get upset, she still has that sweet soft voice. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family.
