Obituary of Sharon D Muhammad

Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
We gather in memory of the loving woman who was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece and friend. Born Sharon Denise Keene on October 6, 1959 to Virgie L. Jackson (né Keene) and James Medley, she was also affectionately know as “Sherry.” After graduating from Highland High School, Sharon went on to a career in food service and worked in various restaurants as well as in Atlantic City casinos. Her culinary interests were well known to her family as well, for she enjoyed cooking and hosting dinner parties and spending time with them. It was not uncommon to find Sharon integrating the flavors of different cultures into her food, too. Her creativity went even beyond the kitchen:  other hobbies of Sharon’s included sewing and other crafts such as tie-dye. She also loved the beach and looked forward to every opportunity she had to enjoy warm, sunny vacation destinations.  She is survived by her son, Rahmele; her parents, Virgie and James; siblings Judith Wynn, Barry Warren, Jaime Battie, and Jacquelyn Martin; her granddaughters Bianca and Cianni; her uncle Harold Keene and aunts Lucille Keene, Leanna Keene and Clarree Keene as well as her nephews, nieces and numerous cousins and friends.
