Obituary of Angela C Williams

Please share a memory of Angela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Life Story Angela Williams was born April 4, 1971, to Jennie Williams (Flynn) and the late Maurice ‘Raymond’ Ross. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Angela was one of seven children between both parents. Upon her passing, she goes to join her son Corey Morton-Witherspoon, her father Raymond Ross, brother Michael Banks, sister Aldora Moore and two nieces, Lavita and Carla Matthews. Angela attended the Philadelphia Public School District and later moved to Lindenwold, NJ attending Lindenwold High School. At the age of 16, Angela moved to Camden, NJ where she was taken in and loved unconditionally by her second mother, the late Lettie Jane Matthews who raised her alongside her extended brother and sisters. During her transition, Angela gave birth to her first child and a short time later, pursued a career in the medical field working at the Dooley House, a residential institution for autistic children. Angela was dedicated to her family. She loved them beyond measures, especially her little “big” brother Robert, children, grandchildren, and her best friend Brandi. She often called them to check in with them and joke about old and new memories. She was known to have a great sense of humor, and always welcomed a good laugh even during her darkest days. Angela also enjoyed an occasional “spilling of the tea” and always had her cup ready for a sip. Angela had a weird way of showing her affectionate side but loved those dear to her heart and had an incredibly unique gift with children in the family and any child she encountered. Angela was an outgoing mother and friend. She became ill at a really young age where she was diagnosed with an incurable illness (lupus) and fought for over 30 years. Through the countless hospital stays and surgeries, Angela always remained strong and continued to fight until the very end. Angela departed her life on February 8, 2021, leaving us with many loveable memories. Angela leaves behind to cherish these memories her three loving children, Dont’e, Tori, and Hameed, seven grandchildren Dont’e Jr, Donshamir, D’Nyla, Azurri, Marzye, Dazye and soon to be born Kori, mother- Jennie and stepfather Willie, four brothers, Robert Ross (Melaine), Terrance Williams, Andre Ross (Denise), and Angelo Cruzsein II (Bertha), seven sisters, Bernice Norman (Curtis), Rochelle Ross, Lydia Williams (Jimmy), Rania Blake, Kenyetta Nix and Lois Nix, godsons Dominique Matthews, and Lanski, goddaughters Jiyonna Moore and Shamiy Nix, best Friend Brandi Moye, bonus daughter Azoriah Matthews, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
