TO THE FISHER FAMILY:
Lewis Fisher left a Legacy for this family. He left "works" that are being spoken of in the earth. He was God's man, a godly man. We look at it as him losing his legs, no..., he wore out his legs; walked them off in this world. His life story shows he traveled many miles to reach the heights in stature he is celebrated for. I've heard preachers say, "when you get saved, you got to go as deep as your sins so your 'works' outweighs them in Christ." He dug a hole thru to the middle of the earth! The testimonies read at his Homegoing tribute of his service to his community, his good deeds, and his Christ-like kindness to others has left us all so very proud. "What A Man!" I love him! I loved him before, now I love him more!! Luv you Family!
'Your Cuz,' Maxine & Family :)

My deepest condolences to the lost of such a good person. I remember Mr Fisher when I was from Sayre Middle now High School. He was indeed a counselor, mentor, disciplinarian, yet kind and wanted best for all. As an adolescent I was a little rough then when I moved across the street from him 16 years ago surprisingly he knew exactly who I was and my mother due to the many visits she had to make at the school. I can still hear his voice telling me to act right my mother did not send me to school to act a fool, I'm too smart for my behavior to be this way. Thank you Mr Fisher I got it together and raised my children with tough love you will be sorrowfully missed.
Respectfully;
Crystal Chamberlain

I remember fondly the man named Lewis Fisher. I was a young teacher returning to the school that educated me, Sayre Jr. High, 58th and Walnut Street in Philly. Lew Fisher was a firm but friendly man who was part disciplinarian, part counselor, mentor and full time educator. I can remember his presence standing on patrol in the middle of the hallway, guiding, directing and loving the children. Rest in Power Lewis! Ron Walker
