Lord, you are the Resurrection and the Life. And yet, you understand how hard it is to be apart from those we love. Bring peace, hope, comfort, and the assurance that you are always near, especially during this time..
May God Continue to bless the Whetstone family at this time.

This awesome women of God became not just my sister in the ministry but my sister friend. She shared an awesomw experience with me as she did her trial sermon and then although she was ill she pressed her way out to my trial sermon although I wanted her to stay home and rest. We would converse late in the midnight hour with prayer and song sometimes going until the sun came up. I'm happy glad that I got to know her but more importantly I am extremely glad that I was loved by her. To this family I give you my sincerest condolences and know that we are forever lifting you up in prayer. My heart is sad but it's not broken because I know that I know that I know that I will see her again. Rejoice and take comfort in that as we will celebrate together her life. Praying for you and thank you for sharing this angel with me and the world.

My sincere condolences to the Whetstone family. I am so grateful for the friendship/sisterhood that Portia and I shared. Our friendship developed out of Secret Sister through (Women of Worship). Then we started travelling together and we were roommates. She was a WARRIOR!!! Well done thy good and faithful servant... Take your well deserved rest in the arms of your Father. Forever in my heart... RIP

To the Whetstone family. You have my condolences for the passing of your sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother and friend. I willmiss her. She was my best friend in high school. I can truly say that she was a fighter. She did not let no grass grow under her feet. Now she does not have to suffer any more. She is resting in her masters arms. So family hold your heads up.
