Obituary of Shelly L. Wright

Obituary Shelly Lynn Wright was born July 5, 1954, to the Late David Earl. and June Rose. Brodie in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Shelly was the oldest of two children. She attended school in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Shelly was a certified dental hygienist and received her credentials from Cortez Peter's Dental School. Shelly was baptized at an early age at Deliverance Evangelistic Church under the Pastorate of Pastor Benjamin Smith in Philadelphia, PA. When she relocated to New Jersey, she joined Saint James Baptist Church in Beverly, New Jersey. Shelly continued her time worshipping at Calvary Baptist Church of South Jersey, also in Beverly under the leadership of Pastor Andre Gittens. Shelly married the love of her life, Clyde Wright, who affectionately called her "Shirley". They resided in Pennsauken, New Jersey and from this union they had one daughter, Kyndall Wright. Shelly was a wonderful mother, grandmother and loving wife. She was loved in return , not only by her family but all who knew her. She had a love for her sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews; that was beyond the imagination. Shelly aka "The Shell" was known for her love of dancing, music and "Bopping" with family and friends into the night's end. She enjoyed Sudoku books, playing games on her phone and playing Yahtzee with her sister Kim. On March 6, 2021 she left to cherish her memories; her devoted husband of 35 years, Clyde Wright, One daughter, Kyndall Wright of Germantown, MD, One Grand-daughter, Tanaera Green of Los Angeles, CA, Four Sisters, Bertha Johnson, Kim Finley, Felecia Brodie and Denise Pettiway; five Sisters-in-Law: Jenny Arnell, Mattie Warren, Denise Wright, Clara Wright and Lena Richardson; five Brothers-in-law: Joseph Johnson, James "Derek" Finley, Shyheed Pettiway, Sonny Arnell and Alexander Richardson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and some very special friends In addition she leaves behind special angels: Donyel, Kendra, Kimbershell, Connie and Nurse Sandy and LaToya of Virtual Our Lady of Lourders.
