Obituary of Richard Davis

Please share a memory of Richard to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Richard Davis is survived by his loving mother, Carthina Davis. His brothers Gregory Davis, Clark Davis, Paul Davis, Brian Davis, and Gregory Teacher. His sisters Vera Davis, Carol Baylor, Elsie Davis, Phyllis Ausby, and Marva Vergara. In-laws Dennis Baylor and Elaine Davis and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. He’s predeceased by Father Harold Teacher, brothers Nathaniel Davis, Harry Davis, Michael Davis, and Harold Teacher II. Richard was a loving son, brother, uncle, and cousin. He was born and educated in the city of Camden. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family by attending family gatherings and reunions. He loved God and attended virtual meetings of Jehovah’s Witnesses with his mother and brother Paul. He had a passion for music and for walking, often to Wawa for his daily coffee. He was always willing to help others by volunteering to clean and clear your yards, garages, and sheds plus other minor handy work. Richard had a distinctive laugh that was contagious. Once you heard him laugh, you would automatically laugh as well. He regularly called family to see how you were doing. As a teen, he often went to the Delaware River or “the swamp” as he called it, to play with the frogs.
