Obituary of Renee C. Fletcher

Renee Candi Fletcher was born on 27th January, 1984 to Herbert Fletcher and Marcia Fletcher in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. From that union, Renee was the only girl and the youngest. Renee graduated from Perth Amboy High School and later attended to East Stroudsburg University. As a student, she always loved a challenge and excelled in Mathematics. Renee was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and god-mother. She was loved by all who knew her. Her warm heart and unselfish nature showed up wherever she went. Even in chronic illness she persevered with a smile. Without doubt, at the heart of Renee was a kind soul. ‘Better to laugh than cry,’ is the statement that best defines Renee. She was a talented cook, putting her unique twist on everything; she could turn a simple dish into a masterpiece. If you played games with her you were sure to lose. Be it a game of cards or an electronic game. Renee was crowned the Karaoke Queen even though she had no singing voice. Always the jokester, she would claim she was the best vocal artiste and going on tour soon. The enthusiasm with which she sang filled your spirit with happiness. A lot of things will be missed about Renee C. Fletcher; her absence will be felt and nothing will replace her charismatic spirit. Rest assured, she’s in a better place and she will always have a place in our lives. On March 12, 2021 she left to cherish her memories; Her daughter Nyirah Fletcher, Her Father Herbert Fletcher (El Presidente), Mother Marcia Fletcher, Three Brothers-: Gerald Parker, Rondell and Rovell Fletcher, Three Sisters-; Felicia Gilkes-Scott, Rachel Fletcher and Alicia Lawson, Three Nieces-; Amaya Fletcher-Pegeron, Olivia Fletcher, Tasia Parker, Five Nephews-; Cordell Parker, Nathaniel Collymore, Josiah Fletcher, Ethan & Luke Scott. Sister-in-law of: Terry Bartley-Fletcher & Shirey Collymore, Cousin of: Christopher Roberson, Ayanna Joseph and many more. Best friend: Annie Feliciano and many many more. In addition she leaves behind her GrandPaw: Cupid.
