Obituary of Kimberly Adele Harnett

Kimberly Adele Harnett made her entrance to the world on January 17,1983 with her fist balled up and fussing. Once she was handed to her mother she calmed down this began their mother daughter bond. Which has always been tight. > Kim became a big sister twice and took that role very serious. She was raised to stand up for what she believes in and go after the goals she set for herself. Academically she did very well by graduating high school early and later attended Lehman college and earned two degrees. She worked various jobs while in college from Duane Reade to Coldstone. When she finished college she worked for Golden Krust, Preferred Freezer and Lineage. Kim was a no nonsense get the job done type of worker and supervisor. > Family/ Home life was very important to her. Kim loved cooking Sunday dinner so we could spend time together. She also enjoyed cook offs with her brother Fred. As a big sister she had fun times doing stuff with her sister Ally and their nieces from special outings to water fights in the backyard. And the summer BBQ’s with her jerk chicken. > Kim was also known for planning ahead making sure we never ran out of anything. She was a very thoughtful person any gift that she gave had a meaning behind it. Besides her passion for cooking she loved doing hair, which you had to make an appointment with no interruptions . > Her siblings Ally and Fred had a way to make her smile to show off those cute dimples. The three of them had a very strong bond. > Kim was the definition of someone with a good heart and soul. She always gave you the honest truth regardless. An amazing daughter/ sister/ friend. > On March 30,2021 Kim took ill and god took her home. She leaves behind her mother , sister Ally and Ashley brother Fred , three nieces, grandmother along with many family and friends. >
