Obituary of Tiyauna D Jenkins

Tiyuana D. Jenkins was born February 1, 1988 to Ms. Tanya Nixon and Mr. Robert Brown in Camden, NJ. Tiyuana was affectionately known to family and close friends as “Tiy” (tie). Tiyuana accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at the age of 9 and was baptized in 2009 at New Covenant Baptist Church in Camden, NJ Tiyuana graduated from Edward Bok Technical School Business Academy in 2006. Her collegiate success at Penn State University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting was accomplished in 2011. Tiyuana was a Nittany Lioness at heart and represented the Blue and White with pride. She loved shopping and enjoyed good meals. To know her was to love her and everyone knew; ‘She was about the money’. Being an Accountant was her profession of choice and she was great at it. Tiyuana was gainfully employed with T.D Bank as a Loan Analyst for 3 years before she had become ill and departed in April 2021. Kindness, encouraging words and her bright smile was three characteristics that uplifted many when she was in their presence. This past year presented some health challenges but she still cared for others through it all. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her but memories of her will remain with us. Tiyuana leaves to mourn: Her Parents; Ms. Tanya Nixon and Mr. Robert Brown and Step-Parents: Pamela Brown and Sandy Nixon. Siblings: Kalesha, Steven, Tenae, Keyandria, Sedale, Kevin, and Tyree. Her ‘Special’ Godchildren: Malaya, Zoey, Zayden. Her nieces and nephews: Ne’vaeha, Immanuel, Autumn, Rayne, Dylan Isaiah, and Dakuri. Her grandparents Mr. Robert Brown Sr, and Mrs. Louise Brown. A host of affectionate Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Honoring loved ones that preceded her in death: Grandparents: Apostle Doris A. Threat, Mrs. Betty Brown Uncles: Timothy Jenkins, John Brown .
