Obituary of Jeromna M Press

Please share a memory of Jeromna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jeromna Monique Press was born to the late Hammam Waheed and Shirley Press on July 21st 1972 at Cooper Hospital in Camden New Jersey. Her soul and Spirit ascended into heaven on July 3, 2021 Jeromna was affectionately known to us all as "Rona." She was a very affectionate and caring person who always spoke of how much she loved her grandchildren. Rona was a happy spiritual person who also loved to dance, sing, cook, and bake for many. Anyone who knew her personally knows that she loved to clean (inside OCD joke) and kept a beautiful and very clean home. If there were ever a need for her presence to help, Rona would do and give all that she could to help anyone. Her first daily love was waking up everyday with the desire in her heart continually raising and taking care of her 6 year old grandson Hezekiah. They was each other's company and comfort. After leaving New Jersey and building her life with her grandson Hezekiah in Bishopville South Carolina, Rona built a great relationship with several who loved her and helped her and Hezekiah get through some really tough times. Mr. Author, Ms. Shirley Wesley, Lavetta Addison (Nikki), and Ms. Earlier Bradley thank you all for the love and support you had in your hearts to help her and Hezekiah daily. She enjoyed coming back home to New Jersey spending time with her family and friends every summer. That was something she always looked forward to. Rona was educated in the city of Camden School district. She also moved on and continued her education with the New Jersey State Job Corps where she earned her diploma in her trade for Culinary Arts... That was a great joy to her. Rona was preceded in death by her parents Shirley Press & Hammam Waheed, sisters Shawahn Woodard- Hilliard, Keesha Woodard- Golden, and Jeri Press, her niece Shavell Woodard, her Maternal Grandparents James and Rose Woodard.
