Celestine “Tina” Daniels Celestine "Tina" Daniels graced the world with her presence on Monday October 5th, 1964 in Philadelphia, PA to mother, Sarah Riley, and father, Curtis Freeman. A North Philly native, Tina represented her hometown to the fullest and was not shy to let others know she was proudly from "Richard Allen." In that same neighborhood she met her high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, Andre. Tina attended grade school in the city of Philadelphia, graduating from William Penn High School in 1982. It was there, she garnered the reputation as an overly protective big sister to her seven siblings whom she loved deeply. Coming from a big family, Tina dreamed of one day starting an Allstar Team of her own. A devote mother, Tina immersed herself into family life, giving birth to five of her greatest treasures, daughters - Coley, Danny, Telly, May-May and Tootie. More than anything Tina loved to nurture her children and grandchildren; they were the center of her universe. Birthday parties, regular weekend get togethers, summer barbeques, girls’ day and Tina’s Annual Christmas party were some of her favorite family gatherings. Tina took pride in hosting the best parties and found any reason to celebrate with her family – a grandchild’s first giggle, their first step, sweet sixteen, grandiose graduation celebrations or simply just to express how much she valued the relationships in her life, Tina poured all her love into her family and closest friends. From an early age, she taught her girls to look after one another and protect their sisterhood no matter the trials and tribulations life would throw their way. The message was simple – “Stick Together” Tina was the ultimate provider and possessed a fervent work ethic, working full time as a highly skilled forklift operator for over fifteen years. She epitomized being a go-getter and above all else kept a "Winners" attitude. Discipline and responsibility were key; however, LOVE was first. Family came first and always. Tina's greatest gift was the love she gave, so pure, so gentle. Those who knew her best endearingly regarded her as "Lady T," for her fierce yet regal spirit. It was often joked the Daniels home was the community recreation center where neighborhood friends could come to eat, swim, ride dirt bikes or just to hang out with family. In her own words, “There is always room for one more.” A worldly woman, Tina loved to travel and spent much of her time vacationing with those she adored most. The sky was the limit, and her favorite line was "Count Me In, I'm Down." Tina was always ready for the next big adventure. Tina spent many years in South Jersey but her favorite place in the world was Florida, it was the one place she always found peace. A thrill seeker, Tina loved a challenge and found it her duty to persevere and weather the storm even when all odds were against her. Tina reminded her girls often, “where there is a will, there is a way,” and she proved this to be true time and time again. In August 2020, she welcomed her last baby girl, her fur baby, a teacup Yorkie named Faith. Tina’s intuition knew everyone would need a little Faith. Steadfast and determined to win, Tina fought a tough battle, all with grace and beauty. Tina loved the lord most and had a mantra of "God is good all the time, through good and bad." She made believers out of anyone lucky to witness her celestial spirit. Tina was a miracle. On the morning of Monday July 12th, 2021, Tina drifted into a peaceful slumber surrounded by one of her most precious gifts, her daughter and was welcomed home by none other than her dearest angels, mother Sarah and sister Nicky. She leaves her cherished memories, her husband, Andre, Daughters, Tyeisha, Andrea', Adrienne, Camay, Victoria and Faith. Stepson, Andre. Son-in-Laws, Wayne, George, and Blake. Grandchildren, Nya, Jazmine, Ja'Mari, Jeanae, Andrew, Naishon, Alexis, Anthony and Jacenia. Grand dogs, Harvey and Ripley. Brothers, Ernest, Bobby, Curtis, Ricky. Sisters, Sheila, NaToshia and the predeceased, Monique, in addition to an array of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
