Brother Segun, I have still not come to reality that you’ve had you last breath. I am still in a state of shock ever since I heard the news of your passing because not long ago I heard your voice, Regardless of my love for you to be alive, it didn’t matter anymore because you have gone to be with God who loves you the most. Heaven has called you leaving so many words to say, but now it’s too late. I reflected on the moments we shared and wondered if I ever showed gratitude for all your sacrifices. Those sacrifices and moments can never be forgotten. I believed that you are called by our father in heaven for a greater reward that you deserved and for your good works that I can never repay you. Death is certainly a sneaky coward in life who strikes on the slightest window of opportunity to deprive us of a loving and caring person like you. You had demonstrated an unquantifiable heart of giving, caring, and love to everyone you touched including my family. Sometimes it’s hard to see our blessings through the fog of grief, but they are there. My hope is that you will no longer suffer pain with the understanding that you have fulfilled your mission. We will miss you very much. Rest in perfect peace in God’s bosom. Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagled; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Amen!!!
