Larry “Pete” Trussell, Sr. of New Brunswick, NJ was born on July 25, 1952, in Elmer, NJ to the late Clarence Trussell and Oddie (Rush) Myrick. He departed this life suddenly on August 11, 2021, at home after a brief illness.   Larry attended Norma and Olivet grade schools and continued his higher education in the Vineland Public Schools system. He joined the Friendship Baptist Church in Brotmanville, NJ at a young age where he attended regularly and sang in the junior choir. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching movies and shooting pool but he loved spending time with his family and friends. Larry met and married the love of his life, the late Sharon (McCoy) Trussell.  From this union he was blessed with four children whom he leaves to cherish his memories; Larry Trussell, Jr. 49 of Atlantic City, NJ, Sharon Sherene Murray 47 of Egg Harbor City, NJ, Laurence Stacey Trussell 46 of Egg Harbor City, NJ, and Tracey Lamar Trussell 43 of Homestead, FL., one brother, Todd Myrick of Pittsgrove, NJ, one sister, Joyce Dallas-Maryland of Montgomery, AL, stepfather BW Myrick of Pittsgrove, NJ, a stepbrother, William Parker of Defiance, OH, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  He will truly be missed by all who knew him
