Obituary   Harold Burton Alexander was born December 5, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Frank Alexander and Mina Essie Mae Johnson Alexander. He was raised in the Fort Green Projects and was educated in the Public School System in Brooklyn, New York. Harold graduated from Eastern District High School in the Williamsburg Section of Brooklyn.   Harold accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Zion Shiloh Baptist Church by the late Reverend J. H. Lofton in Brooklyn, New York. As an adult Harold was baptized in the Name of Jesus by Bishop Namon Johnson at Mt. Zion Commandment Keeping Church in Mt. Holly, New Jersey.   As a youngster, Harold would shine shoes with his brothers, sold franks and hamburgers in the subway, and then worked as a line cook. He valued family and loved birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and other family gatherings. Harold’s family knew him for his kind and giving spirit and he strongly believed that “Where there is Love there is Sacrifice, Where there is No Love there is No Sacrifice.” Harold departed this life at approximately 1:36 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.   Harold was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Shelton and Frankie.
