In loving memory of: Armando Ocasio Carrillo 08/29/1969 – 09/15/2021 Born on August 29, 1969, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Son of Ladislao Ocasio and Letty Carrillo Laviena. Armando was the second oldest of 5 Children: Elizabeth, Joada, Leticia and Francisco. Armando, whom most of us would call him Tito, grew up in Camden, New Jersey. He graduated from Camden High School, then he went to IST Institute of Securities & Technologies to pursue his Career in the Private Security Sector. He met his 1st Wife Nelida (Nelly), at a very young age they were married and had his first-born son Enoc David Ocasio. Unfortunately, due to his traveling, they divorced. Armando was devastated, in losing his 1st marriage, because of the fact. But soon thereafter, Armando’s job took him to Homestead, Florida, where he continued to work, then he met Jacqueline (Jackie) his 2nd Wife, after a few years, they moved to Claremore, Oklahoma in search of better opportunities. From this marriage Armando, fathered four additional children: Amanda E. Carrillo, Jacqueline E. Carrillo, Armando J. Carrillo and Isaac A. Carrillo. In June of 2015, Armando’s 2nd Wife Jackie died from Cancer, despite a yearlong treatment at the Cancer Center of Americas, leaving Armando widowed with four very young kids. He stayed in Claremore, where he continued to work with Private Security and with Claremore Police, which due to an unfortunate accident was forced to medically retire prior to his time. From that point on Armando, had a very rough time making ends meet to support the household and his children, but all in all he kept his promise to his deceased wife Jaqueline, “That no matter what he would keep his house and little family together. Despite all he always had a smile, a unique laugh and would make light of any moment. He was a caring son, brother and father, would go out of his way to help those in need. Armando, came to Pennsauken, New Jersey in August 2, 2021, as a surprise visit to his mother Letty, which she ended up at Cooper Hospital, critically ill, we thought this time mom would leave us for good, but she adamantly fought for her discharge from the Hospital and went home to be with the family. In the interim two of Armando’s kids came from Oklahoma, whom where expose to Covid 19, and Armando, and a few others were exposed to this devastating pandemic and ironically, he ended up in the same ICU Bed, that my mother had vacated a week prior. Armando fought till the very end, only he wasn’t discharged, but “God, saw him getting tired in that hospital bed and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around him and whispered, “Come with me”, with tearful eye’s we watched him and saw him fad away, although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. His golden heart stopped beating and tender hands are at rest, God, took you home, brother, RIP Tito, for you’ll be forever in our hearts, today, tomorrow and always. Love, Elizabeth, Letty & Family
