Obituary of Patricia Nicole Rogers

Patricia Nicole Rogers of Pleasantville, NJ departed this life September 29th at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ. Trish was born on January 30, 1979 in Somers Point, NJ to Janice Rogers and the late Ernest Nelson. She received her formal education in the Ocean City Public school system. Trish was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and cousin. Her son Ni’Ky was her pride and joy and her mother was her best friend. She loved her family and considered herself their protector. Trish enjoyed listening to oldies, hanging out with her friends, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. She was the life of the party. If you sat next to her at any event, best believe you would be cracking up the entire time. Her mouth was spicy. If it was on her mind, you knew about it because she held no punches. Trish was also very loving and affectionate and was “Big Sis” to all of her male cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter N’Keava Worthington, father Ernest Nelson, fiancé Ned Tobias, grandparents, 1 aunt, and 4 uncles. She leaves to cherish; her son Ni’Ky Worthington, her devoted mother Janice Rogers, Step-Father Ervin Hayes, 4 brothers Ray (Regina) Rogers, Ernest, Marc, and Marcus Nelson; 2 sisters Lasasha (Dave) Glass and Keyonnia Legette; 6 nieces Kalla, Zy’Raina, Kyliegh, Lenny, Kami & Makayla; 3 nephews Jaden, Jordan, & Raymond; 4 Aunts, Joanne Gerald, Gwen (Rob) Wallace, Tabitha & Linda Wilson; 2 Uncles Richard (Caroline) Gerald & Dewayne (Annette) Wilson; special cousins Jerome, Takiya & LaToya Wilson and Lionel & Richard Gerald; special friends Jacquelyn, Tameka, Denise, & Mesha; and a host of other family and friends.
