Obituary of Gilbert Young

The Life Celebration of Gilbert John Henry Young Gilbert aka "Buck" was born on August 8, 1952, to Gilbert Young and Laura (Sadler) Pettus. Gilbert was educated through the Camden Public School System. He received his associate degree from Cumberland County College in Legal Studies. Buck was everyone's neighborhood lawyer. He was never one to argue, but he could tell you how to solve anything legally. He found joy and comfort in children and family. His favorite sports teams were the Eagles and Sixers.  He leaves behind a sister Sarah Pettus and brother Cole Pettus. One uncle Elmer Young.  He had two daughters Tameka Young, Nykea Young- Ali with Eunice Young, and a stepdaughter Katrina (Young) McCombs. His legacy will be carried on through his grandchildren Farakhan, Miniya, Josiah, Jalil, and Camille. He also leaves to cherish his memories Darlene Coleman his loving girlfriend and her daughters Tata & Nicole and her son Michael. Buck has 7 nieces Laura Ann, Brianna, Erica, Carmania, Zet, Serita, Lucille, and 1 nephew Bruce Jr.  He also has a host of cousins that were more like siblings to him the Fussell's and Abdullah's.  The Coleman family he leaves with love and memories.          Lovingly Submitted, The Family
