Obituary of Nicola V Allen

Nicola V. Allen (also known as “Nikki” by her dear family and friends), transitioned to her glory on Monday, October 25, 2021. Nicola was 54 years old. Nicola was born on April 23, 1967 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James Allen and Bonnie Allen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nicola graduated from Willingboro High School in 1985. Nicola later went on to study medical assisting at Anthem Institute in which she graduated in 2009.  Nicola was a fun and loving person with a heart of gold. Nicola cherished her time spent with family and friends. Nicola was both a proud Mother and Grandmother to her two daughters Ne’Keisha Burke and Ayesha Hawkins and her five grand children Dior Scott, A’laya Frias, Alani Frias, De’Zire Scott and Denver Scott. Nicola’s grand babies lovingly called her “Nana” and was very dear to her heart.  Nicola had a great sense of humor and was often making her family and close friends laugh. Nicola loved cheering for her favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Nicola enjoyed spending time with her two best friends Kim Mahan and Natasha Tindall whom she loved dearly. Nicola loved dinner and movie dates with close friends and family and her favorite food was seafood.  Nicola was a member of New Life Community Deliverance Church of Willingboro in which she rededicated her life to The Lord in 2016. Nicola enjoyed fellowshipping with her church family under the leadership of Pastor Carolyn Crouch. Nicola loved to sing praise and worship songs and share with others about the goodness of The Lord.  Nicola is survived by : two children, Ne’Keisha Burke and Ayesha Hawkins; five grand children, Dior Scott, A’laya Frias, Alani Frias, De’Zire Scott and Denver Scott; two brothers, Guy Allen and Horace & Chenese Taylor; Uncle Bobby Ray Giles; Aunt Julia Giles; Aunt Joyce Halty; six nieces, one nephew, a host of cousins and friends.
