Obituary of Andrew S Johnson

Andrew Scott Johnson known to family and friends as “Drew” passed away unexpectedly on November 5th, 2021 at the age of 55. As a child, Drew’s first job was to care of and watch over his sister’s while his mother worked. Later as a teen he began to work with his father on the truck during the summers and had an opportunity to earn money, which he preferred to do rather than babysitting for free. He would continue to work while attending Edgewood High School and later enlisted in the Army after he turned 18 years old. After leaving the service he utilized the knowledge and experience gained over the years of working with his father and became a truck driver himself. As a young adult Drew was adventurous and wasn’t afraid to make a move, whether it was to a new city or career path. He loved traveling, and visiting family and friends making sure everything was “alright.” As he got older, he made it appoint to stay connected with family and friends and was always there when anyone called. He was a good brother, a good nephew, a good cousin and a good friend to everyone he met. He will always be remembered for his hard work, positive attitude, big smile, and even bigger heart. He was preceded in death by his mother Saundra L. Dunn-Boyer, Sisters Andrea S. Wilson and Erica K. Johnson and brother Ivan J.
