Obituary of Idella J Gaines

Idella J. Gaines departed life on November 3rd, 2021. Idella was born on October 2nd, 1953, to the late Roosevelt and Curley Mae Gaines. She was predeceased by four brothers: John Henry Johnson, Winston, Benny, and Lonnie Gaines and four sisters: Rose Randells, Valerie, Doris, Pamela Gaines. Idella worked at Cooper for four years as a Unit Secretary. She also worked at VNA of South Jersey for a few years before she resigned to take care of her grandchildren. Idella loved spending time with her family. She loved getting together and dancing to reggae and oldies. She also enjoyed going to the casinos from time to time. When at home, you can find her watching westerns or her favorite mysteries. She is survived by her two sons, Tariq Gaines Sr. and Radee Gaines of Glassboro, NJ; two daughters-in-law: Yvette and Denise; seven grandchildren: Lamar Gaines, Tariq Gaines Jr., LaTisha Durham (nee Gaines), Jaquay Ogawa, Tyleer Ogawa, Lakir Gaines, and Shamir Ogawa, Little Lance and Little Julius Black and Austin; one brother: Lorenzo Gaines; three sisters: Diane Gunther, Vestine Gaines and Carol Gaines; five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Geneva Gaines of Glassboro, NJ and Rachel Johnson of Camden, NJ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends Sorrowfully Submitted, The Family
