Nathaniel Moses Lightfoot, affectionately known to his family as “Shorty”, was born on January 9, 1952, to the late James and Edna Lightfoot in Philadelphia, PA.
He began his early education in the Philadelphia school district and continued his education at Delsea Regional High School in Franklinville, NJ where he graduated. In 1973 he met Mildred Coates and they married on December 8, 1975. Out of that union, they had one daughter, Timika Angel Lightfoot. Nathaniel worked for J&J Snacks in Pennsauken, NJ for nearly a decade until his health declined.
He is predeceased by his parents. He is also predeceased by his sister, Annie Hurst, brother-in-law, Harvey Hurst, and sisters, Gloria and Naomi Lightfoot, and Linda Graham. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Timika, two grandchildren, Laila and Jackson, 4 brothers, James, Ervin, Michael, and Peter (Iona) Lightfoot, 6 sisters, Pearline, Joann, Davida, Sharleen, Kathleen, and Rachel (Tony), partner Elaine and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
