Obituary of Anthony D Anderson

Anthony Darnell Anderson, the son of Solomon Anderson and Juanita Anderson, was born December 7, 1964, in Bronx, New York. Anthony received his education in the New York and Florida public school systems. He graduated from Hardee County High School in 1983. Anthony had a passion for fishing, gardening, and loving on his many pets over the years. Anthony was a devoted man of God. He served God and faithfully observed the Sabbath. Anthony was a dedicated and active member of the Israel Church; he served faithfully until the Lord called him home. He had numerous jobs but made a career at Con Edison, where he worked for over 30 years, with his final title being Chief Lineman. Anthony loved his job and would often mentor newcomers to the job. They described him as a caring and genuine man who always saw the best in everyone because, to Anthony, his coworkers were his family. He loved his career so much that he would often point out the work of other linemen on poles while on family trips. Anthony was united in holy matrimony to Danalis Anderson in May of 1998. They had a love that was truly unconditional; they were each other’s best friend. Anthony and his “sugar” (as he called her) always talked about how they were meant to be together because he was born on 12/7, and she was born on 7/12. On their first date, Danalis told him that he would be the man she married; he just looked at her and laughed; she was right. Together they were blessed with three children whom he loved dearly, Shantaé Motley from her previous relationship, Kianté Anderson from his previous relationship, and their union blessed them with Aislynn Anderson. Anthony’s life was as beautiful and abundant as the garden that he loved so well, and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
