Regretfully departed this life and entered into glory at the age of 72 on January 27, 2022. Carline was the fourth of seven children. She was educated in the Camden School system; loved, respected and widely known by many. Carline married Jonathan W. Cook. Prior to their union she gave birth to Victoria and Juan Maddox, from their union they had three children: Jonathan, Micah and Aaron. Carline was truly blessed to have accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1973 and continued to serve him faithfully until she was called into glory. Carline enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was naturally a giver and had love for everyone. She was quick to assist and help anyone in need. Carline enjoyed sharing her faith and loved singing for and unto the Lord. No matter where she attended church as a member, she always managed to join the choir. Carline had an innate ability to draw and was given an opportunity to use her gift by drawing life size cartoon characters on a wall in children’s church. Carline was very creative and had a gift for decorating anything. In addition to being creative and demonstrating a willingness to serve others, Carline was a fashionable dresser and took pride in how she looked. As a lead up to creating various style, she would place a cut out of her face over the faces of various models wearing different outfits that she would mix and match, in order to visualizes how it would look on her.
