Obituary of Edwin Batiz

Edwin Batista-Batiz was born in Atlantic City on April 21, 1977 to Edwin Batista Senior and Maria Singh, he lived in Gloucester city New Jersey. Edwin unexpectedly passed on January 28, 2022. A firm believer in Jesus. Edwin enjoyed spending time with his family, wherever he went his five-year-old daughter was with him. Edwin trained in combat submission wrestling, as well as earning a three striped purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu within five years. He was: cool, calm, fearless, gentle, humble, caring, tough, was last to speak but first to be there if you needed him, also selfless and was in the process of donating his kidney to his brother Marcos. He leaves to cherish his memory his long-term partner, Eileen Lord, and his daughter, Camilla Rose Batista; his mother and step-father Maria and Gurmeet Singh of Vineland; two brothers, Marcos Batista and Angel Ghag of Millville; a nephew, Samuel Batista; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceeded in death by his father, Edwin Batista Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Pastor Oscar Batista and Missionary Maria Guadalupe Batista; and his maternal grandparents, Confessor Batiz and Aurelia Rodriguez.
