Lucindy V. Snead was born on September 30, 1951 to the late Amos Drummond Sr. and the late Mary Rogers Drummond in Accomack County, Va. Cindy, as she was affectionately called, was educated through the Gloucester County Public School System and graduated from Glassboro High School in 1969. In 1970, Cindy married Robert Lee Snead Sr. In Detroit, Michigan. This beautiful union between them lasted a glorious 52 years. Cindy and Robert adopted their only son together, James Eugene Jackson in 1977. She was also a bonus mom to Robert L. Snead, Jr., Marvin Henry Snead (Deceased) and Marc Anthony Snead. They also raised their niece as their own daughter, who they love and adore very much, Iynasha Cosby. Cindy was a very loving, kind hearted, and dedicated person. She worked very hard to provide a loving home for her husband and children. She always opened up her home to those who needed it and always assisted with caring for many of her nieces and nephews. Cindy was truly a blessing to many. Cindy was a very spiritual person who gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was First Lady of the Church of Redeemed in Vineland, NJ where she served alongside her husband, Bishop Robert L. Snead Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 52 years, Robert L. SneadSr., son, James Jackson, daughter, Iynasha Cosby, daughter-in-law Yolanda Jackson, 2 granddaughters, Delilah Jackson and Maliika Ray-Bey. Brothers: Amos (Pamela) Drummond Jr. , William (Ester) Drummond; James Smith. Brother-in-laws: Nathaniel (Colleen) Snead, and Grego Snead. Sisters: Sharon Bailey, Wanda (Eddie) Reid, Diane Blassey and Peggy Williams. Sister-in-laws: Beverly (Timothy) Hunt, Ilene Snead, Michelle Snead, Mildred Tadlock and Renee Snead. Sisters in Christ and best friends, Pastor Deborah Watts, and Linda Hargrove and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Cindy was preceded in death by both parents, sisters; Brenda Cephas and Patricia Drummond-Stratton, sister-in-law, Lisa Magnum, brother-in-law, Ronald Snead and a very special cousin, Dorethea Mathews.
