Obituary of Brenda M Bethea

Brenda Michele Bethea (nee Morris) was born to the late Samuel & Rebecca Morris on July 2, 1949 in South Philadelphia. Brenda went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2022. Brenda was educated in the South Philadelphia School System. Shortly after high school she started working for the United States Post Office where she retired after 43yrs of service. Brenda, fondly known as Mom, Grandmom, GG, Ninja & Turtle was a loving mother to her only child, Jennel and a second mom/grandmom/auntie to all. In October 1995, Brenda was United in Holy Matrimony to Ronald Bethea. Brenda gave her life to Christ and was a faithful member at the Tabernacle of Jesus Christ. She absolutely loved the Lord! Brenda enjoyed traveling with her friends, good music, and talking or texting with Elaine, Camille & her big sister Vennie! Brenda was loved by all. From the coworkers at the job, members at the church, along with all her daughter and grandchildren’s friends! Brenda will truly be missed by all that has had the pleasure of being in her presence. She leaves to treasure her memory, her husband, Ronald Bethea, daughter Jennel Rodriguez (nee Morris), sister Lauvenia Morris, (3) stepchildren Kia, Zaire & Demetria (3) grandchildren Robert, Jade & Micah, (2) great-grandchildren, Julius & Athena, nephew Galveston Morris Jr. (Malika), niece Tracy Kellam, Stepmother Sandra Morris, (4) Step siblings Eric, Lisa, Kim & Mark (3) Very Special Friends (aka her other sisters), Elaine Edwards, Pat White & Camille Singleton, along with a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins & friends.
