James was peacefully called home to be with the Lord.
He attended Burlington City High School. After high school, the twins opened and operated a detail shop along with automobile repairs. James obtained his CDL certification and later went on to earn his GED in 2013. In pursuance of his LLC, James attended Orleans Technical Institute graduating in 2015 as a HVAC tech. He worked vigorously to master his heating & air conditioning skills. From this accomplishment,
DND LLC.
Home Remodeling was formed.
James always continued to challenge himself. Throughout his 57 years, James acquired multiple skills sets that allowed him to become an entrepreneur, car detailer, master painter, building maintenance, cable installer, recovery vehicle and dump truck operator for almost twenty years. I guess you really think JD only enjoyed working... but that was not the case! He had a witty sense of humor, enjoyed relaxing, fishing, cooking on the smoker, spending money on CB radios and his favorite pastime was spinning on the “wheels of steel”. He especially loved his Sanford and Son reruns, laughing like it was the first time he saw them. But more than anything, he loved spending time with
his family….
…In 1985, James became a father to his first-born son, James (Bud.) Years later, in 1993, his first-born daughter, Alexis entered the world. In 1996, his fraternal twins Anthony and Nicholas arrived. Although meeting early on, James and Darcy ‘s love story began on December 11, 2005, five years later on the same exact day their wedding ceremony took place in 2010. From this union, he became a father figure to Desiree.
James will be deeply missed; his memory will live on forever in our hearts. Preceding him in death: his twin brother Mark (2008). Left to cherish his memory: his loving wife Darcy; beloved children: Bud (Megan), Desi, Alexis, Anthony, and Nicholas (Summer); his loving parents Georgia & Frank (Karla); siblings: little brother Jay & sister Tish (Kevin), half-sister Juana; in laws; 14 grandchildren; The Colzie Family, close cousin Bobby and a host of loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
