Lela Mae Thompson left this earth Monday February 28, 2022 peacefully in her home at the age of 96. She was born in Wilson, North Carolina on October 30, 1925 and later moved to Roebling, NJ in 1946.
She was employed at St. Francis Hospital for over 30 years and where shed retired at the age of 65. Pre deceased by her son the late John W. Thompson, Jr.,Joan Paxton, Barbara Thompson, and Regina Harrison. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grand children and nieces and nephews.
