Obituary of Delores Judge
Please share a memory of Delores to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Delores Judge was born on January 24, 1940, to the deceased father, Richard Bush, and Mother Mary Louise Bush. She was a member of New Mickle Baptist Church during her youth. For the last thirty years she attended St. John Baptist Church, Camden, NJ, Reverend Silas Townsend as Pastor.
Delores grew up in a large loving family, with siblings, the late Author Bush, Mary Francis Banks, Richard Bush, and Leroy Bush. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading the word and watching her favorite television shows.
Delores attended Camden public schools; Whittier grade school, Hatch Junior High School, and graduated from Camden High School.
She continued to nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She practiced nursing at all the hospitals in the city from Cooper Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, West Jersey Hospital, Camden County Correctional Facilities, and retired at Lakeland correctional facilities.
She did not stay in retirement for long because of her love to work with autistic children, and the children at the St. John's Day Care. Delores loved children and was very devoted to them, which made it difficult for her to finally retire in 2008.
Delores will sorrowfully be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her children, Marcia Judge, and her son Michael Judge, Her daughter-in-law Latasha Judge, grandsons Justice, Cameron, and Trevor, Sisters and brothers-in-laws, Clara and Nathaniel Banks, Barbara and Stuart Davis, Bonnie Bush, Doris Bush and a host of nieces and nephews and many, many good friends.
To God be the glory!!!!
