Anna Vazquez, 63, of Camden, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Born on April 27, 1958 in Rio Piedras, PR, she was raised in Puerto Rico before moving to Camden, NJ as a child. Anna was educated in the Camden, NJ school district from which she graduated & later worked as a teacher’s aide in the same district at Coopers Poynt Elementary School for over 20 years before retiring. Anna loved to write & often kept journals, she also loved to do color by numbers. She had a soft spot for the homeless & often found herself helping them with food & money. Anna had a deep love for the Lord; she gave her life to Christ in 1998 where she served Him with love until her death. Preceded in death by her parents Juana Rivera & Angel Ramirez Sr., brothers Francisco Perez & Angel Ramirez Jr., son Jason & grandson Rolando “Peanut” Rivera, she is survived by her husband Juan Vazquez of Camden, NJ, children Victor Rivera (Emily) & David Garcia from Virginia, Quiana Rivera & twin sons Juan & Emmanuel Vazquez, also from Camden, NJ; grandchildren Drekwon, Nehemiah & Jose from Camden, NJ; Angel, Kailani & Ja’Zaya from Virginia & Armani & Amari from Glassboro, NJ. She is also survived by her sisters Luz Hernandez of Bronx, NY, Olga Ramirez of Burlington, NJ, Rosa Lopez (Hector) & Carmen Diaz (Edwin) of Camden, NJ, a brother Wilfredo Perez of Camden, NJ & a host of nieces, nephews & family members.
