Marlene Fernandez Obituary

Marlene was born October 12,1954 to the late Edith Debolt. She grew up and lived her childhood in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. There she met the love of her life Jose Fernandez (Living), who she joined in marriage. Within that union they had five children, Tracy Bethea, Jose Fernandez Jr, Brenda Fernandez, Braheem Fernandez and Nicole Fernandez.

Marlene was blessed with a large loving family. She was a awesome mother. A great grandmother to 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who she loved to spoiled. Marlene have two sisters Diane & Lucille (living), two brothers Joey & Jimmy (living), 3 brothers in law Victor ,Melvin (living) & Craig Turner who proceeded her in death. She has two sisters in law (living) Rose & Linda, one son in law Allen Bethea and one daughter in law Shontay Strambler. A longtime best friend Laverne Turner (living) and a host of nieces & nephews who loved her dearly.

Knowing Marlene, you knew she had a heart of GOLD, she welcomed anyone into her home with opened arms. She was a loving, caring women. Her joy was to cook for her family gatherings, listen to her oldies, play cards and spend special moments with her husband Jose. Marlene was one in a million. She treated everyone that came into her life with love, kindness & respect. Even in her “difficult” moments of health, she still managed to hold her head high, and fight every treatment and task! She was our superwomen, and she will always be our “Jazzy Lady”!!
