Obituary of Sandra A Woodbury

Sandra Ann Collins Woodbury Sandra passed away from this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 after a sudden illness with her loving family by her side. She was born in Philadelphia PA on April 11, 1939. She was 82 years old Sandra was the fifth of nine children of Herman T. and Dorothy V. “Lee” Collins. She was the funny, mischievous one in the family. She was educated and graduated in the Philadelphia school system. She met and married Edward J. Woodbury. They were blessed with five children. Sandra enjoyed reading, sewing (she made her children’s clothes), modeling, crocheting (she loved making blankets for the family), playing bingo and traveling. Sandra loved seeing her friends at the senior citizen’s building. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed the “big, noisy gatherings” that they had. She was famous for her homemade biscuits, deviled eggs and lima beans. She always had goodies for her grands and great grands. Sandra worked various jobs including Nabisco, the steel mill and Rohm & Haas in Bristol, PA, where she retired. She was a hard worker and took care of her precious children and showered them with a mothers love. Sandra is survived by her son Edward (Woody) of Edgewater Park, NJ, her twin daughters Annette of Burlington, NJ and Beth of Willingboro, NJ and her adopted daughter Janice of Williamstown, NJ. Two sisters: Jennifer Collins Boyer (Joseph) of Pittsboro, NC and Andrea Cullins Collins (Cliff) of Clinton, MD. Grandchildren: Sheena, Joi (Timothy), Darryl, Briana (Maximilian), Antoine, Turquoise, Romeka, Brittney (Raafi) Bria, Shemar, Jamillah, Deonte (DJ) and Avonn. 22 great-grandchildren, her dear sister-in-law, Willimae Woodbury, special sons: Garry, Purcell and Gus, special daughter Michelle, her special friends Connie S., Loretta S., and Cookie F, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Woodbury, her parents Herman and Dorothy, her brothers: Rodney, Ronald and Barry and sisters: Marlene, Gwendolyn and Stephanie; two children: Anthony and Stacy.
