Obituary of Cheryl R. Griffin

Peacefully and quietly on March 29, 2022, almighty God called her home. Cheryl R. Griffin, was born on June 11, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Erma Lee Hicks and Raymond Griffin.  Siblings preceded her in death; William Masley, Angenette Hicks and Dennis Griffin. Cheryl was educated in the School District of Philadelphia.  She also took a trade at the Thomas Institute.  She worked for the Pennsylvania Lottery System for several years for she loved working with numbers. She leaves to cherish fond memories  two daughters, Chakina Smith and Deneen Griffin.  Seven Grandchildren: Amani Bullock, Ayanna Bullock, Jenea Epps, Shyne Roberts, Keira Glover, Kia Griffin-Scott, Latif Griffin-Scott and one great grandchild Azayah Bullock. Three siblings Denise Griffin, Jacqulyn Purnell, Nathaniel Griffin, two Sons-In-Law Walter Smith and Demetrus Scott. One Uncle Johnathan Griffin, one God-Daughter Alkeria Hudson. Some extended children Channin Hughes, four close friends/family Lorrain Hudson, Linda Stratton, Sunny Moore, Sonia Smith and a host of nieces, nephews,  cousins and friends.
