Melvin Dennis, departed this life, March 28, 2022, at the age of 71, with his family by his side. He was born July 11,1950, in Mount Holly, N.J., to the late Clarence and Lilybeth Dennis. He was one of eleven children, raised in Burlington and he attended the Burlington public school system. Melvin was married to his lovely wife Gail (nee Pruden) for forty-seven years. He was also employed by Griffin Pipe Products Co., working out of the Florence, N.J. plant, giving them thirty years of dedicated service. Melvin loved fishing, crabbing, and playing cards, however he can really be remembered for his great cooking and barbequing on the grill. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, spoiling them, and watching them play sports. He was always willing to help out his family and friends, and he continues to have a long-lasting effect on them. Melvin was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Lilybeth Dennis, sister Lillian Brown, his brothers Clarence Jr, Alfred and George. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife Gail Dennis, daughter Samuella, son in law Teechey Blango, grandsons John, Jalen, Tegan, sisters Daisy, Edith, Delores, Alice, brother Theodore, a host of beautiful nieces, and nephews, his special godson Derrell Dennis, his best friend Tom and Kim Latham, R.C. Rolling, and Arthur Moore.
