Obituary of Ned Trader

Ned Earl Trader was born on May 26,1958 to the late Missouri Theresa and Willie Herbert. On April 30, 2022 our beloved Ned left this world and his earthly body behind, gaining his heavenly wings. Ned was educated in the Philadelphia school system and completed his education at John Bartram high school. While in his youth, Ned worked as a florist in Southwest Philadelphia where he acquired his love for flowers. He was baptized in 1974 at Sweet Union Baptist Church and spent time as a deacon at Paradise Baptist Church. Ned was employed by SpectaGuard Security and was the head guard at St. Vincent seminary. In his down time Ned found joy in music, dancing, watching  the cooking channel, also being with family and friends. He greatly enjoyed his souse meat sandwiches and chitterlings. Ned was an avid wrestling fan and adored his San Francisco 49’ers football team. He was extremely caring of others and always helped in any way he could. He did not deny others as he always stated, “I will not be denied”. In his final days Ned resided at Cheltenham Nursing Home where he was well known and loved by all the staff and fellow residents. Ned was preceded in death by his parents Willie Herbert and Missouri Theresa, His siblings Willie, Carolyn, Ina, George, Anthony. He leaves to mourn his wife (Natasha) , his children Ned, Katrina, Maurice, Shawn, Isaiah, Alexus, and Joseph. Siblings Stanley, Annette, and Illnora. 6 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
